Welded Steel Pipe Production Process

Straight seam welded pipe has simpler production process, higher manufacturing efficiency as well as lower expenditure. Thanks to these advantages, it has a rapid development and a great development prospect. When it refers to the spiral welded pipe, its strength is generally higher than that of the straight seam welded pipe; it can manufactures welded pipes with different pipe diameters by using the billets with the same width. Welded pipe with bigger or thicker diameters is generally made with steel billet while those small welded thin-walled pipe only needs welding directly by steel belt. Then after a simple polishing, drawing the wire and the process is ok. As a result, a small diameter welded pipe adopts straight seam welding while large diameter welded pipe uses spiral welded. Supplement: welded pipe is made of steel strip welding, so in the past, you can't put it on a par with the seamless tube.

The welded steel pipe production process is as follows. Raw material uncoiling--- flat end cutting and welding---loop forming and welding and welding bead removal---pre correction---induction heat treatment---sizing and alignment---eddy current testing---cutting---hydraulic pressure check---pickling---final inspection (strictly)--- packaging---shipments.

Firstly, ordinary carbon steel wire casing (GB/T3640-88) is a steel pipe to protect wire in the process of electrical installation engineering and is mainly used for industrial and civil buildings, the installation of machinery and equipment. Secondly, straight seam welded steel pipe (YB242-63) is welded with tube parallel to the longitudinal steel pipe. Usually, it is divided into metric welded steel pipe, welded thin-wall tube, and transformer cooling pipe and so on. Thirdly, pile with spiral weld pipe (SY5040-83) uses a hot rolled steel coil tube as billets and is used in civil construction, port, and bridge pile foundation. It is made of double-sided submerged arc welding or high frequency welding. Fourthly, spiral seam high frequency welded steel pipe generally conveying low-pressure fluid uses a hot rolled steel coil tube as billets and forms spiral at normal temperature.

Firstly, GB/T3091-2008 (low pressure fluid delivery welded steel pipe).It is mainly used for conveying water, gas and heating hot water or steam, air, oil and other materials with low pressure flow. The representative material is Q235, A grade steel. Secondly, GB/T14291-2006 (mine welded steel pipes for liquid delivery), which is mainly used in mine air pressure, drainage, shaft gas straight seam welded steel pipe. The representative material is Q235A, B grade steel. Thirdly, GB/T12770-2002 (welded stainless steel tubes for mechanical structure).It is mainly used in machinery, automobile, bicycle, hotels and hotel furniture, decoration and other mechanical components and structural parts. The representative material is 0Cr13、1Cr17、00Cr19Ni11、1Cr18Ni9、0Cr18Ni11Nb.
