Black steel pipes and galvanized steel pipes are all widely used welded steel pipe. And because of lacking zinc layer, the black steel pipe is possible to attach couplers as well as fittings to it easily in order to play different roles in building construction or in industry usages.

Difference in Problems
The zinc layer covering on the surface of the galvanized steel pipe will flakes off after a long period of time. And these flake offs will block the pipes, which is very dangerous for oil deliver pipes or hot water deliver pipes. What's more, because of the zinc layer, the galvanized steel pipe cannot be equipped with different fittings to meet different production demands. The black steel pipe is easy to be corroded because having no corrosion resistant layer to protect it. And its raw material make it cannot be used to deliver the water system that supply drinking water for people.
