You can distinguish the galvanized steel pipe from black steel pipe through their differences. Black steel pipes, galvanized steel pipes and welded steel pipe are all widely used steel pipes. Pipes are utilized in deliver gas and water, so no matter houses or construction needs pipes equally. The feature of no seam makes it an ideal choice to deliver gas.  Although it is not corrosion resistant like the galvanized steel pipes, its high fire resistant characteristic makes it play role in fire sprinkler systems.  In addition, it is also has high heat resistant feature, so it can be utilized to deliver hot water except for drinking water. And because of lacking zinc layer, the black API steel pipe which is different from the welded steel pipe is possible to attach to couplers easily to meet the demands to machinery construction. Its defect is that the black steel pipe is not durable as the galvanized steel pipes because of having no zinc covering.

Nowadays, there are more and more pipes such as welded steel pipe being created with the development of technology and science to meet all kinds of requirements of machinery construction or household needs. However, galvanized steel pipes as well as black steel pipes are still members of popular pipes and are playing increasingly significant role in modern society and their differences are varied.
